Melissa Angus, an Australian mother of two, launched SlumbaPak in 2024 to enhance family travel with comfort and safety. Having visited over 60 countries with her kids, she understands the challenges of long flights—cramped seats and unhygienic surfaces. Her passion led to SlumbaPak’s patented, airline-compliant accessories that turn economy seats into cozy, hygienic spaces for kids and adults.
Partnering with designer Dr. Tristan Schultz and experts in ergonomics, Melissa ensures quality and sustainability through ethical manufacturing in Vietnam. SlumbaPak’s parent-focused design earned the 2025 TGA People’s Choice Award in Las Vegas.
A seasoned entrepreneur, Melissa built a translation business in her 20's and later earned a law degree and Master’s in International Commercial Law. Her expertise drives SlumbaPak’s growth from concept to global partnerships.
